I may be the exception to the rule, but I actually prefer this to the Fukien SX. It is cozy in a way that feels difficult to articulate. The roasted flavor is sublime!


Death roast! The flavor and feel of this is almost coffee like. Very enjoyable to push it: go heavy on the leaf and usefully boiling water (most oolong I use 95c). It’s soothing with a decent caffeine kick. It’s not for everyone, but I love it. Great value for such a famous oolong too!
